At JMJ, we are proud of the great work our clients do around the world. We recognize that it is imperative that strong Incident and Injury-Free™ (IIF™) cultures are able to recognize, acknowledge and appreciate their accomplishments.

In this four minute video, the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical project share what their successful IIF program looks like across the site on a daily basis. The project has taken great strides in implementing a highly successful IIF program, and continues to experience the sort of culture and results reflective of the commitment to Incident and Injury-Free.

Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical project, located in the Thanh Hoa Province in Vietnam, 200 km south of the capital of Hanoi, will have the capacity to process 200,000 barrels of crude oil a day imported from the Middle East, producing petrochemical products such as gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, jet fuel and polypropylene. MAERSK

To support their Incident-Free safety culture, JMJ client Maersk Oil Qatar (MOQ) created a video communicating their authentic commitment to work without any injuries or incidents on the Al Jassra oil rig. MOQ agreed to operate Al Jassra, a purpose built rig owned by Gulf Drilling International. New crew members had recently joined the rig, and, a week prior to commencing work, these new members engaged with and embraced the MOQ Incident-Free safety programme. The following video is part of MOQ’s communication initiative for all drilling operations, detailing how individuals can live out MOQ’s values and contribute to the overall safety performance of Maersk Oil Qatar,  the operation of Al Jassra and other drilling operations.

RIO TINTO

Addressing the “Why” of safety, in four 1 minute videos

JMJ partnered with leading global mining and metals company, Rio Tinto, on their Oyu Tolgoi site in Mongolia, to create an Incident and Injury-Free® (IIF®) safety culture tailored to the Mongolian culture. In the early work together, one of the consistent themes arising from workers during conversations and field walks was, Why? Why is it important to follow systems and procedures? Why should safety matter to me?

Leaders of Oyu Tolgoi listened to this request, and the HSE and communications team got to work. Their aim was to answer the ‘why’ in a simple way. These four 1 minute videos form part of their communication initiative, ‘My Reasons to Work Safely.’ They visually address ‘Why’—without a single word being spoken.
