JMJ will co-deliver a paper with JMJ client Gasco at ADIPEC Conference, titled “Promoting Safety Culture: Changing the Existing Mind-set.” The presentation will be held on Tuesday 12 November 2013 at 2:45 p.m.
JMJ Senior Consultant, Rami Majaj will co-present a case study paper entitled: ‘Promoting Safety Culture: Changing the Existing Mind-set’,’ with Habshan 5 Project Manager from Gasco, Mustafa Ishaq. The Habshan 5 project achieved truly incredible safety milestones throughout the duration of the project and they will share their journey on promoting a safety culture, the successes and the issues they encountered.
Join JMJ and Gasco to learn about the impact Incident and Injury-Free safety approach has on the Habshan 5 Project, the teams involved and specific individuals. The presentation will provide an opportunity to establish direct contact with Gasco and JMJ and to network with international experts in safety and leaders in the oil and gas industry. The presentation will take place on day 3 of the conference at 2:45 in session 38 called “Human and Capital Management in Projects.” All attendees of the ADIPEC 2013 conference are invited to visit Gasco’s Habshan 5 Processing Plant.

About Gasco’s Habshan 5 Gas Processing Plant
The scale of the IGD Habshan 5 project is immense. The construction of the project was completed in 2012 with full production expected in 2013.
- Over 100 million man hours worked by more than 100,000 people, including over 25,000 people on site at peak.
- Total site area is over 4km2.
- Around 72,000 tonnes of steel on the project, the equivalent of 10 Eiffel Towers.
- More than 7500 km cables of wiring, almost a fifth of the world’s circumference.
- Over 267,000m³ of concrete, enough to build a replica of the Petrona twin towers in Malaysia.
