Stephen Portner

Chief Executive Officer

Stephen joined JMJ in 1993 and has more than 20 years of industry experience. He is responsible for enabling JMJ’s team to make a lasting difference in our clients’ businesses and personal lives. Prior to joining the firm, Stephen held various management roles at Colgate Palmolive and Air Products and Chemicals, including plant manager, project manager and director of quality.

He earned a B.S. degree in engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and pursued post-graduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology and Murray State University. Stephen has been recognized by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, The Construction Industry Institute, The National Business Roundtable, and the State of Texas for achievements in quality, safety and teamwork, and he was a member of the Board of Directors of Coyote Network Systems.
