Rami Majaj

Rami Majaj has been with JMJ since 2005 and is currently a Managing Consultant within the JMJ EMEA region. He brings over 11 years’ experience in consulting and 17 years of managerial experience in operations, marketing and business development.

Rami previously acted as the Business Unit Director for South East Asia for 2.5 years, based in Singapore, managing the business and ensuring high impact of our work and the development of the South East Asia consulting team.

Rami is one of JMJ’s most experienced senior resources for any major high performance project or organizational work and has continually supported senior leadership teams in achieving breakthroughs in performance for themselves and their organizations in complex situations.

Rami is fluent in both Arabic and English, having lived in different countries and experienced diverse cultures; this has allowed him to bridge the cultural/communication nuances and create environments of mutual understanding and respect between multinational organizations and project teams in the Middle East.

Since joining JMJ, Rami has been heavily involved in a number of key engagements in the Middle East and Asia, including the Shell Pearl GTL Project (Qatar) as well as the Qatargas 2 and 3 & 4 Projects (Qatar).

Rami was the lead consultant in the history-making GASCO IGD Habshan 5 Project (UAE) as well as the lead consultant on the RasGas Barzan Gas Project (Qatar). He successfully created breakthroughs in each of these mega engagements with a number of long standing clients including JGC, Tecnimont, CCC and Kharafi National, among others.

On all of these projects, Rami was pivotal in eliminating workplace injury and generating effective and high performing team cultures, as well as aligning stakeholders and teams, achieving sustainable goals and ultimately creating a desirable business and work culture.

  • Shell Pearl GTL Project (Qatar) they achieved over 77 million worker-hours without an incident.
  • Habshan 5 IGD Project (UAE) Achieved over 100 million worker-hours without lost time injury.
  • Barzan Gas Project (Qatar) they reached a milestone of 130 million worker-hours without a Lost Time Injury.

Rami holds a 1986 B.Sc. Business Administration with a Double Major: Personnel Management and Finance from University of Evansville, Indiana, USA.
