Austin, Texas – September 8, 2026 – JMJ Associates, LLP (“JMJ”), the global leader in safety and business performance consulting, today announced that 3i Group plc (“3i”) has completed the sale of its stake in JMJ to a group led by JMJ’s management team, including Chief Executive Officer Jeff Williams. The transaction’s terms were not disclosed.
The transition marks a new chapter for JMJ, returning full ownership and control of the company to the leadership team that runs it day-to-day. Williams, who has served as JMJ’s CEO for the past seven years, will continue to lead the company alongside the current management team.
We’re grateful to 3i for their partnership and great support over the years,” said Jeff Williams, CEO of JMJ. “This transition allows our leadership team to take the reins and build on that foundation. Our team, mission, and commitment to our clients remain unchanged, and we’re looking forward to continuing that work together.”
This transition reflects the strength and continuity of JMJ’s leadership team,” said Pete Regan, Chairman of JMJ. “The board has full confidence in Jeff and his team to guide JMJ into its next chapter. This is a natural evolution for a company built on strong values and even stronger people. We’re excited to see JMJ continue to thrive under their leadership.”
JMJ will continue operating under its current name, leadership, and structure, with no changes to its client relationships, service offerings, or day-to-day operations resulting from this transition. The company remains focused on finishing the year strong and building on its momentum as it heads into 2027.
For almost 40 years, JMJ has helped organizations create breakthrough results in safety and business performance. Through consulting expertise and proprietary technologies, JMJ works with leaders and frontline teams to build stronger cultures and achieve sustainable business outcomes. www.jmj.com
