In this video, JMJ long term client Skanska highlights their ninth annual safety week in celebration of the success of their Injury Free Environment (IFE) program. The Skanska IFE program grew from their work partnering with JMJ to integrate JMJ’s Incident and Injury-Free® (IIF®) approach into the Skanska culture and in doing so build a “One Skanska” across their 14 operating units.
There is an ongoing CEO IIF Forum in existence which is hosted by JMJ Associates in the Americas. JMJ has just completed our 8th meeting over four years and have two more planned going into 2014. These 19 CEOs gather to share what is working and where they are thwarted in implementing IIF in their company. Many are direct competitors but come together as partners in changing the industry to one in which people do not have to get hurt to earn a living in construction. This past August the JMJ Media Group filmed the CEO Forum meeting and put together this film for those CEOs to share internally and across the industry.
