Featured background for JMJ Personnel

As Chief Consulting Officer, Mark plays a pivotal role in leading our global consulting team and shaping both our current and future consulting practice. With over 35 years of experience, he has a proven track record of driving business transformation and delivering exceptional client value.

Mark’s broad experience spans many sectors, including oil & gas, chemicals, mining, infrastructure, and government. He had worked in over 40 countries, partnering with company leaders, senior executives, government officials, and their teams to build high-performance organizations and create Incident and Injury-Free™ (IIF™) environments.

He has held multiple senior roles, including being a former CEO of JMJ. His deep expertise, commitment to JMJ’s mission, and exceptional leadership have been instrumental in positioning the firm as a global leader in culture transformation.

The initiatives Mark designs and delivers help clients break down the business and cultural barriers that often exist between companies and functions —whether on projects or within organizations. This enables clients to identify and realize complementary opportunities that far exceed their stated business objectives.

Before his consulting career, Mark spent seven years working for BP in the UK and Venezuela, where he held a number of procurement, contracts, and materials management positions.

Mark has a BA (Hons) in Business Management, an MSc in the Management of Change, and an MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change from Oxford University/HEC Paris.
