On July 31, JMJ will hold a Charity Auction/live music event in London, UK, featuring the Possibilities, a rock band comprised of JMJ colleagues from the America’s Business Unit. The band will play live for the first time in London with a repertoire of rock and roll cover tunes.

During the event, JMJ will auction luxury items donated by JMJ business units around the world, JMJ suppliers and local businesses. Items to be auctioned include a silver necklace and bracelet from the Middle East Business Unit, a Lulu Guinness hand bag donated by QVC and luxury wine from South Africa.

In 2009, the band raised over £2,000 (approx. $3,000) for The Hunger Project with a concert in Austin, Texas, a city known as ‘The Live Music Capital of the World’. The aim of this year’s event is to exceed that number, and all funds raised will be doubled by JMJ Associates.

JMJ Associates have been committed to The Hunger Project since the inception of the company in 1987.  JMJ’s unique offerings to the business world share the same principles as The Hunger Project’s model and values of empowerment. Each year, JMJ employees in Business Units across the globe organize a variety of fund raising events in their communities in support of The Hunger Project. JMJ’s support mainly focuses on the Osonson Epicentre in in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
